Now all depends which motherboard do you have and PSU (please specify brand like VS550 or FSP)
Download CPU-Z and reply with mainboard tab and SPD tab (with both slots or one slot, this is depended on how is your system built).
Are you looking to maximize this rig and sell it when you wanna build/buy whole fresh build?
i7-4XXX is still viable CPU for another few years.
On which resolution are you currently gaming?(because using 1080TI on 1080P monitor is simply wasting money)

Only thing i would add is i7-4XXX an SSD and if you have 8GB of ram maybe to 16GB (depends how many slots do you have) and probably GPU upgrade but GPU upgrade isn't good right now because of MSRP.
