Setup:
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970
CPU: Intel 4690k 3.5Ghz quad core
Been running PUBG on this PC for hundreds of hours with no problem. All of a sudden I have having massive frame drop spikes while playing any game. It seems to run fine for about 20-30 minutes and then it starts the frame drop problems, sometimes I can play for hours and have no frame drop problems. It's completely random. Restarting game doesn't usually help. Rebooting PC sometimes helps but not always.
It happens in other games that are less demanding too. It happens no matter what my graphic settings are.
I have ran CPUID and nothing seems to be maxing utilization or reaching max temperatures when this is happening.
Anyone know what this could be or can tell me about a program that will tell me what is failing when this happens?
