Well, i'm sorry: i don't see the forest because of all that trees: there are many questions and answers belonging this toppic, but i didn't find the answer, which fits to me.

There are 4 correct installed memory Sticks (8gb, g.skill Fortis ddr4-2400, 1.2v) with correct technical Settings for Speed ans voltage in my Asus x370 Prime with latest BIOS. A ryzen 7 1700x on IT. It Shows all 4 Sticks correctly with vendor and 8gb. But in the conclusion Windows IT says 16gb total memory. Same at Windows 10 pro 64: installed 32 GB, usable 16 GB (15.9).

Why? IT must be a BIOS Settings? I'm doing audio and Video production: i don't need 5 percent more Speed, but a reliable, stable and powerful system. May you give me an advice for good BIOS Settings, using all 32gb?

Thanks in advance, i'll Tell, If its solved.

Yes and no: they are correctly recordnized as 4 * 8 GB at 2400, but in the conclusion there are only 16 instead of 32 GB. I put a picture-link inside my first post, but it wasn't transfered.

In the easy UEFI-mode you see in the middle on the left side the RAM slots: every stick is recordnized correctly (I know that, because before I put one stick wring inside a slot, so I saw, which slot was wrong).
Above the RAM slots there is the "conclusion" with BIOS version and so on, and: RAM total.

This could be a matter of bent CPU pins. You may need to examine the CPU itself.

I have the same mobo and it too has 32GB (4x8GB) of memory. Works fine with my Ryzen 7 1700.

What is the exact model number of the memory you installed? Also, in you the BIOS, is the memory running at 2400 or 2133 (default)?

I use the G.Skill Fortis F4-2400C15D-16GFT , two pairs, installed, like a single pair should be installed: A's and B's are each one pair.

I hope, a bent CPU pin is not the problem: my PC is running really well, but it claims only 16 GB in total/usable, but it recordnized at other part 32 GB correctly.

So in the BIOS: at DRAM status 4 banks with 8 GB each slot, but at "information" the CPU speed, and memory: 16384 MB (DDR4 2400 MHz).
Same in the windows system setting control panel at "info": installed RAM: 32 GB (15,9 GB usable).
