Hello,

I am trying to increase clarity of my microphone by removing unnecesarry/potential background noise makers.

I've read unpluging the front panel audio jacks helps. As they are usually crappy.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE PLUGS of Fractal Design Define Nano S, MicroITX case?
I've opened the case but wires to the front panel are unnacesable like that, unless i'd start puling out them with some pliers. Fingers don't fit there.
I've also opened the case's front panel, removed the filter. But all the wires are encased in a plastic case, this way they are totally unacessable.

How did my computer engineer plug motherboard wires into the front panel? Any trick? I really need to pull it out, i know my on-board amplifier picks up lots of noise from it.

EDIT: Ok i think those wires are actually hardwired to the case? Is that the case? In that case - i only need to find the AUDIO plug going to mother board and unplug it. Would be nice if i could also pul it out of the front panel as it's extra wire/antenna. Can someone tell me if they are hardwired or removable from front panel.

Yes. Read a lot about it, it's probably wires. Since my front jack sounds much louder than rare - it has to be the audiowire. I believe audiowire is the one which is flat and wide, like six or so wires conected together. It goes behind my fractal case and into Mobo's other side.. Sux to be me, i can't reach it there without puling the MB out! horrible. Yes i think wire is hardwired into the case, probably came with the case itself.

My motherboard and setup:
Gigabyte z170n Wifi
Fractal Design Define Nano S

The flat, wde cable from front panel is routed through the back of the case and enteres a hole in the metla part of the case, in the middle of the back of the motherboard. I think it might be plugged in there, but not sure.

If anyone knows where the Gigabyte z170n wifi AUDIO front panel socket is on the MB, would be great to know!

Today i wil get new headset (Astro A10) and i will test it's mic's quality in front panel's jack, rear case's jack and compare. I tried previously with other micorphone, but it was a cheap thing. If front panel stil cause more noise i will firstly try to reroute the Audio cable in the case away from cables, if problem stil there will unplug and se how rear jack improves ornot. Will see if it helps.
