best budget cooler for overclocking I7 7700k

hi i was planing on bilding a new pc soon and i was wondering what would be the best buget cooler (air or aio) on the market for overclocking it. i am planig to overclock it from 4.2 to 4.7 or mabey 5.0. my budget is preferably 20 to 40 dollars but if its realy necessary 60 ish is my max.

Not to be harsh, but the i7-7700k already runs all 8 threads at a minimum of 4.2GHz, and turbo will run a couple of threads as high as 4.5GHz, so your OC is not really an OC at all in the 4.2GHz to 4.5GHz range.

The H7 is fine as long as you just plan at locking the cores at 4.5GHz, but anything higher than that will require the big coolers. It's why they exist. And they aren't cheap. To get 5.0GHz stable and decent temps requires a minimum of a Noctua NH-D15s or equitable air cooler or 280/360mm AIO's. Plan on $70-$150 for a cooler.

$20-$40 will get you a cooler that's @1 step up from the Intel stock cooler, ranging @140w to 160w. The peak power of a i7-7700k is @160w at stock settings.

When it comes to cpu cooling regarding OC, there's one firm and hard rule above all others. Go big or go home. There's no half way measures or you get unacceptable temps. Budget coolers + OC = fail. Often epic fail.
