4k Video error

I got MG279Q monitor, 1070 asus strix i7 6770k and SSHD 3.5'' SATA3 7200 2TB+8GB Seagate Hybrid Drive but for some reason it always shows error when I am trying to play 4k video. I can play them on youtube but when I download the video both KMplayer and 5K Player I am getting the error message.

What format are the video files stored in? Also, are you using the monitor's native resolution (2560 x 1440) or some different setting?

Are your video drivers current (up to date)? https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Have you tried VLC? https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

Try with Media Player Classic Home Cinema.

Video file is .MKV and yes I am using native resolution 2560x1440 with 144hz. All drivers are up to date. and no didn't tried VLC
