ASUS ROG Maximus VII wont boot into the bios. ("No option to boot to")

I've been having troubles with my windows 10 system running so slowly that it is not able to accept my password to login within 30 minutes of me waiting. To debug I've tried booting into safe mode and unplugging all USB devices.

I eventually gave up and decided to try a windows 10 repair or reinstall with a USB install stick. The only problem is that hitting del or f2 does not allow me to enter the BIOS.

I even cleared the CMOS and after hitting the 'F1' key to enter the bios I am either met with a blank screen or the message 'No option to boot to' (if I dont have any HD or USB plugged in)

Any help for me on this, I'm growing quite frustrated.

Try booting to the USB device again but instead of pressing "F2" or "Del" try pressing "F8" multiple times. This should give you the boot device options. Then you should be able to boot from your USB as long as its formatted and installed correctly.

Is there a way to do this without using this method? I am unable to get to the login screen and the machine is so slow I cannot click on the reboot button.
