I just put together a Ryzen 5 2400G build and when I ran some benchmarks I noticed that it makes a loud high-pitched clicking/ticking noise when it's under heavy GPU load.
It doesn't seem to be caused by the fan since the noise isn't an issue when I ran prime95. I ran the fan at different speeds and it doesn't seem to be a problem. It's also not the PSU - I borrowed a Corsair CX750M to test but there was still a clicking noise.
I'm thinking it could be coming from the motherboard but the fact that it's occurring under high GPU load and not CPU load is throwing me off.
BTW PCMark BSOD's with a video_tdr_failure after the first few seconds of the video conferencing test. I tried reinstalling the display drivers but it didn't help. 3DMark just freezes at the loading screen.
Thoughts?
