I just recently overclocked my EVGA GTX 1080 TI FTW3 with a +50 MHz GPU clock offset and a 415 MHz Memory clock offset. I've pushed the voltage to the maximum safest possible allowed by NVIDIA at 1.093 V.
I also had just overclocked my i7-7700k to 4.85 GHz at 1.345 V as well.
I tested both overclock stabilities with Unigine Heaven and RealBench.
After trying to play the Witcher 3 a little bit, it was freezing (audio would continue and I can still hear myself moving the character around). I'd have to alt-tab out and close it via task bar.
Just asking then, what is most likely causing this instability?
