My work laptop is a Precision 7710, which has a Quadro M3000m GPU. it's got an onboard 4K display (Driven, I think from Intel's HD grahics system on the processor), and is currently running a pair of UXGA (1600x1200) external displays via a port replicator dock.

If I were to replace the UXGA screens with something bigger/higher resolution, whats the practical maximum resolution my GPU can support? (let's assume work is paying :)) I've found spec's for other GPUs in the past but can't find anything on these Quadro ones.

Can anyone help?

I did come across that link earlier, however my addled brain can't quite resolve those figures into an actual x-y resolution, plus I'm not sure that's the current generation as mine is the Maxwell, yet they're listing Kelper architecture with less than a quarter the Cuda cores.

The dock is a Dell Advanced port replicator - with 2x Display port 1.2 (or DVI-D)
