So about 2 months ago i had a GTX 780, i bought it second hand, and i gamed on it for about a year. But then it crashed and started to show artifacts, so i had to buy a new one. I did not have a lot of money back then and GPU's were/are expensive. So i looked on my local marketplace(I live in the Netherlands). So i looked on the website and i came across a deal for a Palit 980 TI Super Jetstream, and i looked up on pcpartpicker.com to see if it could fit with my motherboard and powerspupply and all that stuff and it said there were not compatibility issues. But when i got it and installed it in my pc. My pc did not show anything and turned off after about 20 seconds, but all the fans and lights were working. So i looked in the bios and turned on that first i want to start with onboard graphics so i could atleast boot into windows. When i booted up, it showed in the device manager that my GPU had code 43. I have tried to find a solution, but i couldnt find one. So maybe some guys of you know anything?

Solution
Boot into Windows and use DDU to wipe out any previous drivers. Restart and install the latest 980 drivers directly taken from Nvidia, be careful to select the correct OS, restart again and see if it fixes the issue
