Hey there so ive been wanting to get a new gpu in my HP-Z400 its not like all hp z400 and i had a problem please help me fix it soo i have 465 or 485 PSU but its not really an popular brand like chieftec or whatever sooo let me get to the point....Ive bought a gtx 260 and was excited i had put it in my pc and started it it got up gave a picture and i was excited when it like just died pc was on but everything was like dead i opened a pc and realized that GPU wasnt spining coolers i tried to spin them with finger and it was perfect so i at that point realized oh my psu is too weak im selling the GPU right now and want to buy Quadro fx 4600 but dont know if my PSU could survive it i really dont understand the like calculating so could you let me know should i buy it or what should i buy it if you are wondering why quadro because right now in my pc there is Quadro FX 380 so idk i mean i see another quadro should work why wouldnt it?? soo here are my Specs of pc and what i want to put in it:

6gb ddr3 RAM
Intel Xeon W3520 2.67GHz
Nvidia Quadro FX 380 (right now in it)
PSU of 465 or 485Wats
nothing really more special except in front of my case there is a thing like a reader for like USB 2.0 SIM CARDS and idk some kind of cards just something like without adapters to read SIM CARDS and that crap nothing much more i have 2 monitors 1 is ACER 1920x1080 and other is ACER 1280x1024

SO CAN MY PC SURVIVE IF I PUT IN IT NVIDIA QUADRO 4600 768mb/384-bit/DDR3
(i have an 6 pin connector so dont need adapter)

Solution

Why do you want a quadro fx 4600 in the first place? It's ancient and get outperformed by a bunch of other used alternatives at the same price.

Well to be honest my psu was weak to handle gtx 260 soo i dont know i saw i have Quadro in my pc Right now so i just was thinking it was made to handle other quadros i dont really know

It doesn't care what gpu goes in there as long as it's a pcie x16 compatible gpu (and isn't using pcie version 2.1 which a couple of cards did).

The z400's psu can handle single 6 pin cards just fine. Whats the budget for the gpu upgrade?
