hi everyone hope you all having some good days.
well as the titles says i'm looking for your advice, here's my hardware
speaker S550
headphone Sennheiser hd 8 dj
sound card: asus xonar phoebus, also i have sound blaster ZX and xfi titanium, but xfi is out of system, don't like it much ATM and ZX is on my primary system, i need help with asus one.
two days ago i noticed my headphone is super weak on my asus xonar, like there is no sound at all, seems the xonar is broken, super low volume on headphone amp, but speaker part was fine, now i just noticed there is also something wrong with speakers too, when i turn on flex bass i don't hear any difference like before, like nothing at all, so i guess the whole sound card is about to go to trash can? or not, not sure though.
but i'm guessing it's pretty much futile to try anything with it at this point, i changed the slot, OS, drivers and everything, nothing worked.
so i'm thinking about a new sound card, at first i wanted to buy asus strix RAID, then i thought, nope not another asus that would die on me like this, in less than 2 years of usage...
i'm ok with ZX but i'm not impressed with it, xonar felt better, it had more power, so i thought about ZXR but from what i heard it seems ZX and ZXR are not much different is that correct? or is it not?
i'm looking for something in these price ranges and i want durability and strong sound with as much clean bass i can get, if anyone got any advice i could use a little help.
sorry for a long post so sorry -_- and thank you in advance ^^

Not sure what's going on with your ASUS; my Xense has survived for years now, and what you're describing sounds more like a software/OS problem then the physical sound card itself dying. Its possible a Windows update broke something; it's happened before.
