Hello,

I've had this really annoying problem for a while now. Midway through a session on my computer, my screen freezes, then turns black and says no signal can be found. This has been happening for a while now and I did some research and thought the problem was because of my PSU not being able to output enough power to my GPU.

I've recently bought a new PSU - Corsair CX650 W Power Supply Unit and upgraded my GPU from a GTX760 to a GTX980 but this hasn't fixed my problem

I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic Test yesterday and the results said that my RAM is running fine, I've also moved my GPU down to another PCI-E incase the pins further up were broken.

Solution
Try using system restore before you installed that program.
If not reinstall Nvidia drivers, download DDU, go to safe mode (shift+restart method)https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10,
In DDU select Nvidia, CLEAN+RESTART, afer that download latest, NOT AUTOMATIC, select windows and which GPU, and after installing restart if prompt.

So this started happening on one of my pc after installing Rising Storm 2 : Vietnam and Easy Anticheat (required seperate install). Zero problems before and changing cable and videocard made no difference. It was if monitor went to sleep and would not wake up. Setting monitor time out to NEVER shut off helped but did not totally eliminate the problem which would happen evven if not gaming or steam running. Finally uninstalled game and now very rarely will see a black screen flash for a second. Searching Easy Anticheat people have issues...may not be related just thought I would throw it out there.
