what will i need to do after inserting a new CPU in to the motherboard

So hey guys im buying a new CPU and i wanna know do i need to do some adjustments to the BIOs setting or download some drivers or dont i have to do anything after i put it in motherboard?

Since drivers are specific to the motherboard, replacing the CPU should not require anything. There are exceptions to this general rule. If you are putting one of the new Ryzen APUs into an existing AM4 motherboard, driver updates may be required.

It would be helpful if your question was more specific. What CPU and motherboard do you currently have? What CPU are you upgrading to?
