Hello everyone! I'm having a very frustrating issue while playing Watch Dogs 2 on PC. Occasionally, I'll experience a sudden shutdown, almost like a loss of power. No blue screen, no "shutting down" screen, just completely off. This happens only while playing this specific game, and it only happens sometimes. It doesn't matter how long or how little I play it. I've tried changing graphics settings, power settings on the computer, etc. No, the system is not overheating, and yes, it is fully capable of running the game. I'm also not overclocking any of my components at all. They are operating at stock speed. I have contacted Ubisoft multiple times, but none of their suggestions have worked. What they suggested:

  • Running in safe mode
Disabling all non-Microsoft services and startup programs
    Reinstalling graphics/DirectX drivers
    Deleting temp folders

At this point, I have no idea what's causing this issue, and I feel like I'm at the rope's end. Does anyone have any ideas? I've included my specs for you to look through. Thank you!!

Motherboard: ASRock 970A-G/3.1
Processor: AMD FX-8350
RAM: 16GB DDR3 1866MHz
Graphics: MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Windows 10 Home

I have a Cooler Master 500 watt supply. Other games I play are Just Cause 3, GTA V, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, etc. As I said, the only one that causes this issue is Watch Dogs 2. I tried moving the game to a different hard drive which made it reinstall DirectX and .NET Framework files, but I still encountered shutdown.
