Hello,
My laptop screen is broken so i have been using my spare monitor to be able to use the laptop. I wanted to Boot into safemode and decided to do so (like a noob) from msconfig (minimal safemode) and then realized that it does not load drivers required for external monitor. so after hours of research and tinkering i found a way to be able to access BIOS and Recovery Menu. Right now I have access to CMD and System restore. I want to "reset" safemode or boot normally using CMD or Linux or Rescue disc. Windows restore is the last thing i want to do as it fails several times and takes several hours to even initialize. Any help, Please?

Solution
Thanks for the reply but to follow any of the steps in the link you have provided, i must be able to see the display. In my case i cannot. However, i fixed the problem myself. I just had to press "esc" quickly after powering on and unplug and Plug back my HDMI this allowed me to see the BIOS menu on my external monitor.(i also disconnected the broken laptop display from the motherboard before trying this)
