So i had windows 7 a week ago and to make it short i could connect to 5ghz perfectly without any problems / disconnections.

I have windows 10 now, so sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't connect (it will always show up on Available WIFI.) When i want to connect it either shows my Wifi stick getting reset (not connected --> connected but no wifi available --> wifi available) and i'm sometimes forced to use my slow 2.4 ghz. Or it just says unable to connect to the internet.

Keep in mind that majority of the time i can connect but it is very very annoying it can take me 15-20 minutes to make it stay for the whole day by reconnecting my stick bunch of times or holding down wps on my stick. But i don't want to do this everytime i turn my computer on.

I did uninstall the drivers and the driver software from it and installed from tp-link driver section for windows 10

Wifi stick : AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter

1| Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard?
2| Are you on the latest drivers for your wireless adapter?
3| Have you also made sure your chipset/USB drivers are up to date? You may need to uninstall and re-install them.

FYI, you didn't mention the make and model of your wireless adapter.

1. No
2. Yes
3. I couldn't install them through my motherboard cd because it said hardware monitor something so i installed them with a program that installs drivers 'Driver booster'

4. Wireless adapter : AC1200 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter

[EDIT] Also adding to 3. I uninstalled all my usb in the device manager and restart my pc.

Well i can't install through my cd because it keeps on saying 'failed to load hardware monitor driver this program must run as administrator'
and i tried everything that supposedly helped people fix it.

EDIT : also i think the cd meant for windows 7. But when i go to my motherboards drivers its only sound and lan drivers available

MSI 970 gaming = Motherboard.
