Sooo. I have a Lumia..yes Lumia 650-the last Windows phone made by Microsoft. So I was wondering. On the battery it says it is 3.7V and on the charger as well. But I have one powerbank that has output of 5V and I haven't found a battery that has an output of less than 5V as well so will that hurt my phone's battery if I use it?

Solution
No, the phone will take incoming 5V power and run it through a charging/monitoring circuit for the battery. Ideally a power bank would also have a DC power supply inside if the battery voltage exceeds 5V.

Many phones will also take up to 12V, since so many companies make terrible car chargers that just current limit the car's battery.
