I have tried to find what motherboard i have but cant find the model number on the computer. All is know is it is an Asus motherboard, In device manger it appears as follows:
Bluetooth device (Personal Area Network)
Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
Realtek 8821AE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC
Realtek PCle GBE Family Controller
WAN Miniport (IKEv2)
WAN Miniport (IP)
WAN Miniport (IPv6)
WAN Miniport (L2TP)
WAN Miniport (Network Monitor)
WAN Miniport (PPPOE)
WAN Miniport (PPTP)
WAN Miniport (SSTP)

I ave tried resetting my IP, manually entering an Open DNS server, Uninstalling the network adapters and restarting, Disabling firewall, all to no avail.

Did you try another Cord? (Just before doing anything else)

Try in CMD (as admin) ipconfig /flushdns , you connect via wifi or wired?
As i see thats laptop, go to start, then settings (the COG), then after window opens select "Network & Internet" and on "Status" tab on right should be "Network reset" click it and yes to confirm and reset now.
You probably gonna need to reinstall again.

Second might be that driver goes bad or interferes with Windows, connect your phone and do like Thethering, it should be somwhere in Wifi options in phone, go to device manager and right click on "Realtek PCle GBE Family Controller" and update driver and "search automatically" if it says that its up to date, there is another issue.

In start type "Create restore point" and it should pop up window with System properties and on bottom of that window should be "Create", create system restore in case something goes wrong.

Now i would uninstall everything under Network tab (DONT UNINSTALL ANYTHING ELSE!!)
If it prompts for Deleting software tick it.

And after that restart, and install latest (you might need to uninstall previous if it detects).

If it didnt help, just go to system restore and restore it.

I am having the same issues even when connected to my phone hotspot. I went through and did the dns flush and uninstalled the network devices and did a system rebbot after still having the same issue. the issue only seems to be over wifi I just ordered a new wifi adapter in hopes that it will solve my problems if not it is a cheap investment anyways. i'm going to hold off on doing a system restore until I test the new wifi adapter. thanks for the help and input Robert

Actually in some "help posts" it was recommended to buy cheap wireless and try to update, i don't know why it wont connect, i mean i've experienced disabled network (virus of course) but in your case it should work, but if its disabling there is conflict between something, does it show X or triangle?

While the internet is said to be connected sometimes it shows the yellow limited connection sign and while it is trying to connect it shows the red X next to wifi status.
