Unstable Wi-Fi Connection

How do you know you don't have any interference? All kinds of things can spit out RF interference and "wifi analyzers" that you can get for your cell phone don't show it. Intermittent disconnects could easily be linked to a motor kicking on and off or a microwave oven.
That said, if you are sure it is not interference, then it likely a hardware failure like a loose antenna or failing electronics. Can you test by connecting to another access point or using a different adapter to connect to your AP. If you don't have any extra equipment, invite a friend over, enjoy dinner together and see if they have the same issues.
