Lagspikes and crashes

When playing Minecraft I constantly receiving lag spikes every 5 seconds for 0.5 seconds. And when playing fortnite and having my settings epic it crashes after 3 mins or so. When playing csgo and alt-tab it freezes and I must restart it. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING???

pc specs: Intel core i7 6700 3.60ghz overcooked to 4.00ghz.

RAM: 2 STICKS of 8 gb each 1633mhz

Gpu: MSI NVIDIA GTX 1070 ARMOUR

SSD: 220GB Samsung evo 980

You didn't buy your GPU 2nd hand off of a miner did you?

I'd update DirectX, Java, .NET framework, C++ runtimes, and would perform a clean install of the latest video card drivers.
I would also suggest running Memtest: https://www.memtest86.com/ and CrystalDiskInfo: https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
to make sure you aren't having any issues with your memory or the ssd.
