PC slow downs

I built my PC in January 2017, left it untill June (because of exams) and then used it alot.

It worked great but around 6 months ago, I started running into problems. My PC studdered alot. I looked around and figured out it was because of my CPU temps that were at 99 degrees celcius under load. I got a cooler master 3rd party cooler and my temp didnt cross 45 degrees and the studdering was gone.

It's 2018, a full year after I built my PC and i have problems that I have no idea how to fix. Games that ran at fine before now studder. Things take forever to load, and i face bugs in games that no one else seems to have.

For example, if a click my mouse in Mirror's Edge 1, the game drops to 25-35 fps from 60 fps (which is especially annoying because i speedrun this game)

Crysis 1 crashes if it auto saves or if I load a save game. (I tried clearing out crysis in the documents but ended up just losing my save games with nothing changing)

Far Cry 3 faces masive microstudders and freezes unfreezes after a few seconds.

You get the point. My PC is slow and i cant find any way to fix it.

Specs:
Mother Board ASUS H81ME
GPU Windforce 750ti
CPU i5 4460 3.2GHz
RAM 8GB DDR3 1666MHz
PSU 550W
OS Windows 10 x64

Pls help

Oh btw, i did get a new 1TB hard drive to move some games over.

Solution
Get yourself an SSD install Windows on SSD and other software such as games and other stuff on your normal drive. SSD will boost your system performance and hopefully, it will kill load times and make your computer smooth.

Reinstalling windows seems like a huge task. I mean, i only have two hard drives and both are filled with games and programs. How do i clean reinstall? Might give it a try if a get to keep my games. Btw, i have tried using Display driver uninstaller and reinstalled my Nvidia drivers

SSDs are expensive from what i've heard. What's the lowest storage capacity for SSDs. Because as much as i would like to, i wont be getting a 10TB SSD to store everything i want. If i were to invest in a SSD, I would get it only for my OS and maybe a game or two.
