Hi, I have a Biostar H61MLV v7, i5 3470, and a single 8GB 1866MHz HyperX Fury. Upon searching the BIOS, I saw a DRAM Multiplier, DRAM Voltage and DRAM Information. In the DRAM Information I found that my module is running at 1600MHz. I want to fully maximize my RAM capability. Choices in DRAM Multiplier is from 10.67 up to 24. Does 24 mean that the RAM will run at 2400MHz? Also what are the best timings for the HyperX RAM? Thanks

cpu-Z will tell you at what specs your ram is actually running at.
While the stick is capable of 1866 using an XMP profile, I doubt your motherboard can support that.

If you want better ram performance, trade in your 8gb stick for a kit of two sticks so you can run in faster dual channel mode.

Lastly, do not hope for a noticeable difference in actual app performance or fps unless you are using integrated graphics.
