CPU upgrade backfired

Hello!
I recently upgraded my pc-s CPU and also GPU.
I first changed Radeon HD 5750 with Geforce GTX-1050.
I then changed my intel i7-920 with used i7-960 from ebay.
I have 10 gigs of ram.

After doing so, the gaming looks OK, but using Adobe Premiere for video editing
has become a lot slower. This led me to a question:

May it be necessary to change something in the BIOS to get the benefit?
Since I am puzzled, why the upgrade made the editing speed worse.

I appreciate your responses!

Solution
The BIOS shouldn't need any changing. If you are concerned about it use CPU-Z and check the clock speed is what you expected. You'll need to load up the CPU to see it's max frequency though.
Perhpas some of your previous editing was harnessing your AMD's GPU power, and, now that you have an Nvidia product, that same 'processing path/venue' is inoperative, meaning now your CPU is the sole source of processing.

I'd do some searching for 'Adobe Premiere with Nvidia GPUs' to see if there are similar methods for your new GPU....

That could be the case, since the task manager shows it barely uses GPU, also for some reason, it only uses 60% of RAM.

But what about BIOS settings, would it be common to have to change these settings after CPU upgrade, or is it mostly unnecessary?
