Seller seems reputable, although I've never seen people mod the xeon generally people mod the motherboard. Using the xeon you have a lot more unknowns being that its a modded CPU that was never actually supposed to be used in your motherboard, but quite a lot of people do it.

a Q9650 or 9550 is a much safer bet, and you probably won't see any difference real between the xeon vs the Q9---.

Hey everyone again,

For some reason I couldn't reply for some reason on my previous thread so I had to make a new one :/

Anyway, as I said before I had a Core 2 duo e4700 on my Gigabyte G41m-ES2L LGA 775 Motherboard.

I couldn't get the Xeon, but the Q9650. I'm still a bit hesitant so I'd like to know if there's anything better than a Q9650 that I can put in my motherboard.
