Psu Wires Burnt is it safe to boot

Hey guys I was trying to start my 5 year old pc it had been sitting for 1 year ,when I tried to start it I saw smoke from the HDD and found that the wire from psu that were connected to HDD were burnt

I don't need that HDD but I wanted to boot into the bios,Will it be safe to just remove my HDD and boot into bios.

I'm a noob plz help

I wouldn't try anything on a system like that, seek specialized assistance, like a c computer repair shop that have knowledge,proper protective and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair you computer safely, it's not worth the risk.

Find out what caused HDD wires to burn before proceeding any further.
Start by replacing the PSU - it must be a well-known, quality brand like Corsair, Seasonic etc.

Then wear some goggles & use a long wooden stick to press the start button - - (only joking) -

You'll probably end up with more burnt thing with a little chance of one being is you. If you don't know how to replace things plug it out and get it directly to repair. If you know the way around be careful and replace the PSU immediately.
