Yes, you should have no trouble using that GPU. Technically, you would normally not worry about a discrete GPU with an APU...but since the equivalent non-APU Ryzens are a little more expensive, & you're just reusing your old GPU (especially one more powerful than the APU's integrated graphics), it's not a bad choice.
