Windows 10 Install Can't Detect SSD

I am currently trying to do a fresh install of Windows 10 to my nvme SSD on a new PC, but the Windows 10 installer can not find the m.2 SSD. I tried finding it in diskpart but the only drive listed is my bootable UEFI USB install media. My BIOS/UEFI correctly displays my SSD in the m.2 slot, and this is the only drive connected to the motherboard, besides my boot media.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2400g

Mobo: ASRock X370 Pro4

SSD: Samsung 960 Evo m.2 nvme 500gb

Note that the motherboard does have an ultra m.2 slot for nvme SSD's, and this model is specifically listed as supported for plug n play. It also says it supports nvme as bootable drives, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, as I've tried booting with CSM set to UEFI only, disabled, and many other BIOS options I've found in various video tutorials and support threads, as well as the many similar threads I found here, so any more suggestions would be much appreciated.

Solution
I was able to solve this problem by updating my motherboard to the latest bios. Even though it was a recently released board, I needed to flash the most recent update for it. It works now though and all is well
