I have i7 4790 with Intel stock heat sink but its temperature goes to 85C by applying stress. My question is that is 85C is fine.Actually I don't have enough money to buy powerful heat sink or thermal paste. So my question is that can this temperature damage my processer (i74790) on gaming of about 6-8 hours...help me plez

Solution
85C would probably only be seen in heavy Blender/CInebench /rendering sorts of loads...

Although it is not yet to the point of thermal throttling, it is above what most folks are comfortable with for sustained day to day temps, IMO...

I'd look for a decent quality aftermarket socket 1150/1151 cooler by NOctua that you can take with you to your next build... (NH-D15 by Noctua, if your case is wide enough for 165mm height of sink)
