Ryzen 3 2200G doesn't live up to hype.

I recently bought a Ryzen 3 2200G (3.5-3.7 Ghz) off of new egg for around $100 dollars and I found that it's performance is appositely appalling. In most games that I would run at a sold 30-60 FPS on with my little old i5-2700 (2.70 Ghz) I can barely run at all on my new processor. Is there anyway to fix the performance I am getting? Thank you in advance.

P.s. I downloaded all the drivers available

My specs:
Ryzen 3 2200G (3.5-3.7 GHz)
ASRock AB350M Pro4 AM4 (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157762)
GTX 750 (2 GB of VRam)
2xDDR4 8GB

Solution
That ASRock AB350 is terrible motherboard. I had one that would randomly BSOD, black screen, hang, and would not be stable even idling in windows for more than 40 minutes. Those problems all went away after I replaced the ASRock with an ASUS board.

BTW I don't believe there is an old i5-2700, it is either an i7-2700 or an i5-2500. In either case, the 2200G should be able to utilize the GTX750 without issue. However make sure you are actually using the GTX750 and not the IGPU built-in the Ryzen. The GTX750 should be substantially faster than Vega IGPU they put in the Ryzen. It would be best to disable the IGPU in the bios so it is not adding more heat to your system and taking up PCI-E lanes.

The Ryzen bottlenecks start at around the GTX1060 level. Any past that level, Ryzen starts to gimp them. I got a 1300x running a GTX1060 without issues right now, but when I tested with a GTX1070, it was obvious that the Ryzen wasn't keeping up. I tried it with a R5 1600, and got roughly the same results.

Mostly because I was just looking to upgrade my processor for relatively cheap and that was one of the better options that just so happened to come with integrated graphics.

Any suggestions for an alternative motherboard?

I replaced it with an ASUS Prime B350M-E. But it is just an OK board and it was cheap enough. It is stable for now, being only 1 month in, not a single random reboot ever. I can't vouch for its 6-month record yet. But I liked the ASRock AB350M Pro4, because it had a nicer feature set, more connectors and such, but none of that matter when it falls apart after 6 months.
