Recently i reset my Laptop (Msi GE72 Apache Pro) i was able to run most games either on high or medium. since I've reinstalled all my games i cant seem to even be able to play them on the lowest setting possible.. I have no idea what the issue could be seeing that everything use to run smoothly.

If anyone has any suggestions on what i could be missing it would be very much so appreciated!

Best bet would be to reinstall windows 10 using a bootable usb, and disable all of the crappy automatic services running in the background. If you can't or don't want to reinstall windows 10 for whatever reason, check these 2 video's out, but I highly recommend a clean install and follow these 2 videos.

Also, click the windows button, type choose a power plan, select high performance/ change plan settings/ advance power settings, scroll down to processor power management and set minimum processor state and maximum processor state both to a 100%

Have you tried to see if your games are using the Nvidia GPU instead of using Intel's integrated one? From my knowledge, laptops always had problems with using the GPU that they come with... I think.
