Z87 Sabertooth is acting wierd

Few days ago I got old Asus z87 Sabertooth from friend that got it in the basement. So I tried to test it with my 4690k and 8gb ddr3 (2x4gb).
First thing that was strange is actual temperature of cpu on stock! voltage. 1.008V (Auto) - CPU in bios went up to 50C right away. I checked in windows with different software - it was nearly same, as well 1st core is about +20C away from other cores. (Anyways CPU seemed stable and no crashes occured at all) If i tried to overclock my CPU like I did on my Asus Z97 Pro - 4.4Ghz 1.260Vcore, it resulted in 1st core reaching 100C very fast, and whole package going about 85C with Thermalright Macho + 2 fans. When on Z97, I use the same Thermalright Macho without any fans and it never exceeds 60C under any load.
Second thing that is wierd - is "SYS_FAN3" fan header when plugged in does high pitched noise (like a coil whine), no matter which fan do I use. Whine comes from somewhere around under socket area.
Can anyone explain to me - is my motherboard possessed? Can't find anything about such a thing.
