I am building a cheap budget pc for productivity use and very light gaming(e.g Csgo in medium settings or fortnite). My budget is $200 (including the motherboard if I buy a cpu ) Thanks!

You can game off the Vega 8 iGPU. Hopefully you already have a HDD & case as the new parts already exceed your budget a little bit.

This is good but I would like to buy from amazon. I already got a combination together. I have 8Gb ram, 1TB hard drive, 1TB ssd, and the am3+ socket motherboard. Since I'd rather not own gaming cpu (I think I could get better use out of a cheaper cpu), I think the AMD Fx-6300 will be a good fit. On amazon, it is a bit expensive right now but it will decrease. This way I don't have to buy a new motherboard and ram. This saves money for the GPU (I know the intergrated graphics for the FX series suck ). I can then buy the Asus Radeon Rx 550 for $97. Lastly, to power the cpu and gpu, I have a unknown brand 250w power supply. In another thread, I asked if this would work, and people said it would catch on fire (on the parts before which obvioulsy had to go up in price). So I chose the EVGA 400w power supply. Lastly, I needed an Operating system. Right now, I installed Ubuntu on it (using my dual core phenom) because when I was moving, I broke my motherboard, and the Operating System got "lost"(I bought the motherboard I have right now a long time ago, this event happened at least 5 years ago ). I found this website called Kinguin, and[based off of a you tube video] it is legit. I know this is well over my budget but I think the prices would be similar to your parts that you chose if it was on Amazon. Thank you though!

Links:
Power Supply- EVGA 400w

Asus Radeon 2GB DDR5 RX 550 dedicated Graphics card

Amd Fx-6300 CPU

Operating System- WIndows 10 Home(I know a discount code)

Total Price:
$244.90

Let me Know if there are better prices! Thanks!

For gaming a $60 G4560 would easily outperform that 6300, the FX CPU's are really outdated and even at release they weren't very good. As for getting the OS Key from Kinguin, good luck, we see quite a few threads about people who buy "cheap" keys that seem legit and eventually MS finds out its a fake or duplicate and invalidates the OS so your out whatever that key costs you. MS allows you to use Windows 10 for free, that's your best option until you can buy a legit key from MS or a authorized retailer.

OK. Thanks, but can you give me a link on how I could use Windows 10 for free. And I think I will use your previous Idea using the Ryzen 3 2200 and intergrated graphics. I can always upgrade to another GPU.

Ok. I know I am a bit late on this reply, but I want to overclock my cpu and after some reasearching, no a320m motherboards support cpu overclocking. Can you reccomend a mobo with a am4 cpu socket and also supports overclocking? Thanks!

Edit: I have a ton of amazon gift cards and I want to buy everything from amazon. I am willing to make my budget around 250-275 dollars

Edit2: Does the motherboard bracket come with the motherboard? I am asking this because the bracket on my case is really old.

Why change the ram? The ram on amazon is only $3 more than the newegg one. And ryzen 3 2200g is $90 if you choose another deal. Thanks!

ohh. Ok. I found a mobo sold by another retailer for around $50. I can buy that ram for $85, and the ryzen 3 2200g is $104. Lastly is the power supply. For 29 dollars, a 400w power supply should be enough(I think). In total, the price is around 250$. Tell me if I should change something. Will order in a week. Thanks everyone!

What 400w Power Supply is it? Overall the Power Supply is the most important part of the PC & Shouldn't be skimped on, if you need to save money then save it elsewhere but make sure you spend the money for a Good Quality Power supply because if it fails then it could take other components with it, worst case scenario is it explodes/catches fire that could cause more damage than just the PC.

EVGA 400w- it is $29 using another retailer. I have a 300w unknown brand that powers a phenom *2. That is why I want to replace it.

Also, later I will want to change to a dedicated graphics card, but right now I don't have the budget. Can you reccomend me a really cheap gpu for later?

Things change quickly. A detailed and quality answer today, may not be valid when it is time to actually buy your GPU.

Come back and ask when you are ready, with your budget, and you should get any help you need.
