Can't connect my new custom gaming build to the internet because the USB drive with the drivers needed to connect isn't detected. Doesn't show up at all. Same drive I used to boot Windows 7 from, same slot, but it acts as if there's nothing plugged in. I tried every USB port on the computer, but no results.

These are the parts I used. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

And is there a something I can do to fix this then?

Make sure pen drive is plugged in to a USB 2.0 port, not USB 3.0 (your mobo has both types).

USB 2.0 is supported natively on Windows 7, whereas USB 3.0 is not supported until USB 3.0 driver has been installed from motherboard drivers page on Gigabyte website.

You should be able to identify which ports are USB 3.0 as they'll have a blue contact bridge --- so the other USB ports which don't have a blue bridge will be USB 2.0 - - use one of them.

So I used the USB 2.0 ports on the back of the computer. Even went out and bought a 2.0 drive instead of the 3.0 drive I used previously. It still doesn't show up when I plug it in.
