I have RAID 5 array consisting of 4x 4TB HDD. Intel rapid storage system reports missing two of them in raid but detects them as non raid disks. When i was searching for cause i noticed their serial number does not match anymore. Serial number of disks is the same but theirs serial number in array has changed by adding ":0" after real serial number and also cutting out first letter of it (i guess because of length).

I have tried to update intel RST to most current version and also donwgrade it to older version none helped. How should i proceed to save my data on the array?

Serial numbers array is looking for:
D-WCC4E4AP4PE8:0
D-WCC4E1CFEJNR:0

Actual HDD serial numbers:
WD-WCC4E4AP4PE8
WD-WCC4E1CFEJNR

If any more information is needed to solve this please ask for it i am new at asking for help on the internet. Thanks.

Motherboard based RAID is inherently unstable. If you recover your array insure that you properly back it up as this will not be the last time it is a problem.

You may have success using a raid reconstruction tool such as THIS free version of ReclaimMe or THIS one that has a free download to see if it will work and then costs $99 actually use it.
