Asus Strix 980ti Middle Fan High-Pitched Noise, Stops Spinning

Hey, guys! So I have been having this off-and-on problem with noise in my ASUS strix 980ti. But now it's happening every single time I turn my computer on and honestly not only is it extremely loud and annoying but I'm worried some damage is being done, if not a possibility of overheating.

To put it simply, the middle fan seems to be off balance or possibly have a bad bearing in it because it will begin to spool up with the rest of the fans and then shortly it makes a high pitched noise and then a low growl and stops spinning for a second. Almost looks to be spinning off-axis ever so slightly.

So like I said this is really loud during use and drives me crazy, as well as the fact that I think my GPU is getting hotter than normal and it is beginning to throttle as a result. I don't want to do any damage but it is worrying.

Any possible ideas on a fix from home or am I going to have to RMA this card? I really can't go without a card too long is my only issue as I have work that is needing to be done using this card. (not cryptos, don't worry lol). Thanks for any and all advice.

Here's a YouTube link to the sound and look of the fan while it is doing this weird stuff.

Solution
If it's no longer under warranty and you're up to it, you can remove the heatsink and get the part # off of the fan itself. You can usually find replacement fans on ebay.
