I have 2 net gear Ethernet cables I have one plugged into my computer and one into my router. I recently got this new computer and before my Ethernet worked fine but now the Ethernet box lights up with a red dot on the very bottom and my computer says unidentified network. Please help I’m not sure what to do

Did you configure your new computer to join your network?

Regarding the two Ethernet cables: one cable goes from old computer to router and the second cable goes from new computer to router - is that correct? If so try swapping the cables to see if the new computer connects and the old computer does not. Could be a failed cable.

Are you able to run and post the results of "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) for both old and new computers?
