I have a single Radeon HD 5970 dual gpu card 2GB. I wish too add a second one same model. Making Quad GPU. Will catalyst link them both. I have a crossfire ribben cable already.

Well someone else asked and he got a normal answer too his question. I ask and you say gaming. No. I just wondered if I had two would they sink up and run. Shouldn't of asked lol

well some people did you multi GPU for compute purpose (and most often this kind of application did not use multi GPU the same way game does). if your purpose really is for gaming then just ditch the idea. the card itself no longer supported by AMD. but even before AMD stop supporting the card their support for CF is not exactly good either. so i'd expect for majority of recent games the card will perform much like on a single 5850. Quad CF support is even worse.
