Hello, I have been quite interested in PC's since last year. I have currently been using my brother's computer that he gave to me, so I have never really built a computer. It has an FX-6300 and an r9 270x. I'm looking to make a new one and was wondering if this would be a good build.

I of course will be waiting for gpu prices to go down and will use on board graphics as an alternative until then. I am not interested in purchasing an apu as of yet, as I won't be using the apu for very long. Also keep in mind that I already have a hard drive and wont be needing another one for some time.

Is this a good build and where can I improve?

Solution
RAM can be faster, unless you OC it. Zen architecture pairs well with 3000Mhz RAM, so if you can pick that up, it would be great.

SSD needs to be bigger. 120 gigs fills up really quickly, and unless you are really careful with your storage, it will serve as a problem soon.

PSU can be better, but it is a decent unit. Case is also quite claustrophobic AFAIK and can be hard to work with.

Thanks for the reply and feedback

I was looking to get another case https://www.mwave.com.au/product/deepcool-kendomen-atx-mid-tower-case-red-ab60764
seems to be good for the price

About the ram, I have found some half decent 3000mhz ram that pairs with my mobo, so no issue there.

And for the ssd I was thinking about buying a second ssd further down the line for important programs and what not, or I can get this one
