this is the .dmp file

win 7 ultimate 64 bit

4gb of ram

randomly crashed , also sometimes it got stuck on shutting down and at times when it did shutdown , it booted back up saying windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

i had this problem for a month , so i did a clean windows install and installed all the drivers and all the net frameworks , everything is up to date but after 3 days it just crashed again now.

at around the same time crashes started for the first time , i began to connect my android phone to my pc via usb tethering to share my phones internet and i still do

usb kept disconnecting and the only way to make it work again was to reset the pc

after the windows reinstall i still had this problem , but this time even my mouse and keyboard disconnected to , they kept coming and going until i restarted my pc so i fiddled around and installed some drivers and managed to make it work , now only my phone disconnects but it connects again in a second or so , still i think my bsod has something to do with that.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

bugcheck was in your updated gpu driver
Atikmpag.sys Time: Fri Mar 16 16:54:38 2018

the bugcheck indicated that the hardware did not respond, the system tried to reset the GPU hardware and did not get a response so it called a bugcheck to shut down the system.

The system was running 1 hour 26 minutes. It looks like a very old machine Bios dated 7/2010

I would open up the machine, blow out any dust from the CPU, GPU, and PSU fans
and check to see that all of the fans are working.

if you just updated the graphic driver you might roll it back to a previous version.

you also have this driver installed:
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\a2ertonc.SYS Tue Jul 14 14:12:55 2009
just have no idea what it is for could not find...

I had something very similar to this and it was the power supply that was going bad. Good likely hood that's what is going on with yours. Could be the motherboard but good possibility it's the power supply. I would try that first and see if that doesn't fix it.

thank you , got my power supply few months ago its a 480w , i'll see if i can find out how much each part is using , and the usb ports power drain , other than my cpu (phenom II 940 x4) there isnt anything else really , gpu is a low profile 7750

just have no idea what it is for could not find a2ertonc.SYS on google so the driver is suspect.

(unrelated issue)
you have \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\ew_usbccgpfilter.sys Sun Apr 24 19:47:09 2016

a lot of times these newer USB drivers will not work very well on systems with bios versions dated before 2012. You might want to update the the last bios version and drivers provided by the motherboard vendors website.

thank you so much , i ran my pc in my brother's workshop for a while and the electrical voltage was very unstable , it caused flickering in the lights and restarted my pc few times every day , and one time i had no picture so i removed the gpu and ran pc on onboard gpu and it worked , however i did put the gpu back the next day and it has worked since , with what u said i believe my gpu is damaged , also my case is electrified and i think its coming out of the gpu, thanks again.
