Is stock cooler good enough?

Solution
"K" CPUs from Intel don't come with a stock cooler, so you will have to buy one (either as part of that build or separately) in order to run your PC.

As for storage, I'd definitely recommend getting an SSD as your primary drive (250GB from Samsung should be fine), but keep the 1TB HDD as a secondary storage drive.

The stock cooler, paired with an 8400? Yes, it's good "enough"... but just barely.

There is no stock cooler for an 8600K...

An SSD is highly recommended, but depends on the cost. 60quid or so total seems "ok" for what'll be a pretty cheap 240GB SSD. Off the shelf, they'd cost you 55-60, and you'd be doing to work of cloning or clean installing your OS.

I don't see any mention of the PSU in that build though, which is concerning....
