Hi so I don’t really know much about computers but this is my problem:
So my pc will not boot into windows 10, every time I try I get a blue screen with the message “Your PC ran into an issue” or something along those lines. Then my PC will restart itself and then a screen comes up and says “Preparing Automatic Repair” and then just goes into my Bios and I don’t know what to do from there. I’m pretty sure it’s because my hard drive is dead, I knew something was wrong with it because it kept making weird noises at random times for 30 seconds and then stop for a while and then happen again. And just 2 days ago some programs stopped working and I couldn’t reinstall them so I knew I had to replace my hard drive. However, I’m confused because Windows 10 is on my SSD, so I figured I would be fine if my hdd died because I didn’t have the money to order a new one. In my bios my SSD is set to boot priority and it says “Windows Boot Manager.” So I’m just confused, is my SSD dead too? Or will it not boot because my hard drive is plugged in, and should I unplug it? When I get a new hard drive and replace it should everything be ok or is it something to do with the SSD too? Please help, if I’m not explaining thoroughly enough I’ll answer any questions you have that will help to help me. Thank you
