I buy old - new components :D

I3-3225
Msi h77ma-g43
Kingston hyper x khx1600c9d3k2/8gx

Wanna upgrade to i5 or i7 cpu, but don't it should be with k or non k. 2nd or 3rd gen. I somewhere read that mobo do auto oc on turbo boost. 2nd gen cpus runs cooler?

Should I add extra 2 x 4 gb kingston hyper x ram, or buy something new 2 x 8 gb?

What is good budget and silent cooler with that set?

Thanks.

A seasonic m 12 550w is enough. For that work 16gb is pretty much mandatory :p.
Not much better you can do for that money indeed. Also look into some xeons they often go for quite a bit less due to most people not knowing they work on their boards.

You could get a 3770 and add more ram. However a basic ryzen 1200 matches a 3770 nowadays so it would be somewhat wasted money. You can't oc on that board which makes it a lot less worth it to upgrade.

I just recommend you save up and move to something newer.

I grab everything for 100$. Plan to sold i3 for some bucks. I saw same hyperx 2 x 4 gb for 40$. I7-2600k for 80$. Maybe few bucks discount for everything. So I wanna add 100 - 150$, for ram, cpu, cooler. There is some minds sold hyperx and buy 2 x 8 gb crucial balistix sport, but I don't know it's good idea...

Before you continue. Whay do you plan on doing with this pc? Also whats the psu since that will be the deciding factor. A crappy psu will have problems with these upgrades.

Plan for gaming, cad works. I know ryzen, or even pentium would be nice for future, but for 200$ I can get only 2 x 8 gb ddr4 ram. I hope it work few years ahead, or until windows 10 support ends. I think cheap s/m-12ii seasonic would be fine.
