Hi i've been using this laptop for about 5 or 6 months now and have experienced little dots on my screen before. I looked it up on youtube and it said that my graphics driver was out of date so i went into device manager and right clicked Intel (R) HD Graphics 620 and updated it.

It worked like a charm so i was happy it resolved but it came back after i would say a month and it got so bad i can literally not type without a glitch popping up in the middle of a sentence.

this happened after i was playing a game of Fortnite when the computer starting showing random glitches that didnt let me see the player, i have no idea what to do now im pretty much stuck here at the moment, any feedback would help thank you.

Wow, okay. that's a crap ton of dots you've got there. When you disable that adapter it fixes the problem? But you have a second adapter right? If so, just switch it to that adapter and use it, it's most likely gonna be your gpu chip since you're on a laptop. Anyways, if I were you, I would call HP Customer Service right now to issue rma since you're still under warranty or walk-in to any HP store.

It doesn't happen when it i boot up the system (hp logo) but it does glitch when it tells me to put in my password. its sort of like a line on the profile picture from then on the screen (background is full of little random dots)

its very annoying and i basically disable the display adapter Intel (R) HD Graphics 620 and it seems to fix the issue

i have tried everything even going to HP's website and finding another driver under the software & drivers section to no avail.
