Hello,

I might sound stupid but I really have no clue about this.

I just wanted to know if it was feasible to use a SATA Laptop drive which has Window 10 32 bit installed on it, in a desktop pc.

Would I need to reinstall the OS?

If I were to plug in the Hard Drive (which I just removed and replaced with the laptop drive, works perfectly fine) back into the desktop would it run without any hiccups/data loss or need for any installation?

Solution
you only need to re install drivers, but fresh copy would work best as it is still clean os. note that if you have oem key the key cannot be used on another pc as oem key can only be used on 1 system

And would it be fine if I plugged the old drive in which was previously configured with the desktop? Will there be any data loss or need for reinstallation on the desktop drive?

What I meant was, can the desktop drive which has already been configured with the drivers and has a proper OS on it be affected after removing the laptop drive from the desktop? Will it run fine as soon as I plug it in?

Thank you for putting up with me.

If you're expecting to just plug that laptop drive into a desktop, and automagically just boot up from it...

Maybe, maybe not.
Leaning towards the "probably not".
