Hello all,

As the title states. I have a Aorus GTX1080 Gaming Box connected via thunderbolt 3 to my GS73VR 7RF. Its detected perfectly, however i notice serious stuttering even on the desktop. I will move my mouse and it will freeze then show up where its supposed to be after a second or two. It does this consistently and is unusable in this state. This translates to gaming as well. Is this normal? I would love to fix this issue and use the 1080 for the performance it deserves. Thanks for your time and help.

Hi, I had the same issue with the Aorus Gaming Box 1080 + Dell XPS 15 9550 when I tried to update to the latest Nvidia drivers 391.35 (because FarCry 5 was asking for newer drivers). I have the Aorus Gaming Box 1080 connected to a 4K TV via HDMI and also noticed that when I unplugged the HDMI cable and ran off the laptop display that the stuttering wasn't there so my thoughts are that it is a Nvidia driver + HDMI handshake issue. I have read that there are others with stuttering issues with 39x.xx drivers. I rolled back to 388.71 and all is fine again. Hope it helps you.
