I just purchased all my new parts for a new PC. I decided to go with nzxt's h700i case and wanted rgb fans so i went with nzxt's fans as well. Becasue of this i went with the nzxt mobo. Ive now heard that its not great with overclocking and other problems. Should i return this mobo immediately upon receiving and it a buy a ASUS board. I wanted the board so it would be easy to use RGB components nzxt offers but also want to overclock my 8700k so now im worried i made a mistake.
I am mainly using this pc for gaming purposes.

No, I would try manual overclocking on it first. It may require more effort but it should work. The NZXT N7 is capable of overclocking and I would give it a chance first. My only complaints with the N7 are that it lacks functioning easy automatic CPU overclocking and RAM overclocking requires voltage adjustments after using XMP for stability. That and it's quite expensive although it looks great.
yes, it's better to get it from a company that's well known in motherboards, rather than case/cooling solutions.
i think it's always better to use these four motherboard vendors atm, gigabtye/msi/asus/asrock. with the exception of EVGA, they know what they are doing, but their mb are more focus in overclocking communities.

Gamer's Nexus / Buildzoid did a very thorough review of it. It was fine as I recall. Just way too expensive for what it is.

ECS isn't that well known for their own products, but they only built it, supposedly NZXT picked out the parts.
