How many fans should I buy for my P400s?

Hello There,

I am going to build a Budget gaming PC (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Alv5ro/saved/), I have 0 experience in building. If any of you guys also know any ways in whick I could improve the build, i'd love the feedback,

Since the P400S comes with 2 120mm fans pre-installed, my advice would be to move the front fan to the top of the case and add 2 140mm fans to the front. Doing this would require you to purchase a fan splitter, since you have 4 fans but that motherboard only has 3 fan headers.

Another option would be to replace the GIGABYTE board with one that has more fan headers. The cheapest board that i could find that had 4 fan headers was this one from MSI.

Also, are you planning to upgrade to a K-series cpu in the future? Because if you are not, you could purchase an H370 or B360 board instead if you are not going to overclock in the future. I'm not sure if those boards are available in the UK yet.

I am not planning on overclocking the motherboard any time in the future, however, if I feel like I could do this, I may consider it an option. I will most likely go for the first option just to be safe. Also, I have heard that overclocking reduces the lifespan so I may not buy a motherboard used for overclocking (I do not work so buying a CPU with a short lifespan isn't what I'm looking for).
Would I just need to buy 2 extra fans on top of the one that the case comes with?

Yes, purchase 2 extra fans to place in the front, and move the fan that came pre-installed in the front to the top. This way you will have 2 fans taking air in, and two fans exhausting it out, since the P400S comes with 2 fans.
