[SOLVED] Need a budget LGA 1155 Mobo

Hello! I need a budget LGA 1155 MOBO! I am thinking of buying an i5 3570(non k), and have found in my searchings for a motherboard, that many of the choices are out of stock. Maybe someone can help me. I would like to stay under my budget of $150. If possible I would appreciate a link to the board that is in stock. Thanks!

depending on where you live it can be hard to find any decent motherboards with that socket mostly because of it age. i am from canada and 2 years ago i had to try to find a replacement 1155 mobo for my 3570K and the only ones i could find were used and they were too overpriced. ebay had some cheap gigabyte ones but even they were used and very limited. in the end i ended up just saving up for a year and bought new CPU,mobo, and ram to get my desktop PC back

So it would be worth saving up more and go to LGA 1151?

i would say it depends on what kind of luck you will have getting a replacement motherboard

If I do go with LGA 1151, can you recommend me a mobo under $150?

the mobo i had for my 3570K was the GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UP5 TH. it was a good mobo especially if you were new to overclockingand had USB 3.0 and thunderbolt ports. even though it did fail on me i still consider gigabyte a reliable brand.

if you do go looking for this mobo you can ignore the "TH" in the model number, the only difference in the TH version was it included a wifi/BT combo add-in card
